Nurses from Brattleboro Memorial Hospital will be administering the Johnson & Johnson (one-and-done!) vaccine. Recent article about this event in The Brattleboro Reformer.

For this program, Alexander Meszler will focus on highlighting the variety of soft orchestral colors the Estey organ provides, playing gentle music that will allow listeners, should they choose, to drift away momentarily, both to contemplate this past year but also the future. As we meditate upon a post pandemic world, we can choose to "return" to a improved, more equitable "normal" that is changed for the better.

Breton Abbondanzio has been an organist for 21 years. He started working as a church organist in high school and earned an organ performance degree from UMass Amherst and has had a lifelong interest in piano and organ improvisation. He is currently the Music Director at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Brattleboro. Breton is eager to explore the rich tonal palette of the Estey Opus in presenting a program of both quiet, reflective repertoire and improvisations inspired by the instrument, the space, and the event itself.
