About the event
The BVRAS is an informal group of people who come together monthly to share in the profound pleasure of listening to vinyl records in a positive, inspiring environment.
Listening to vinyl records encourages us to have a relationship to music as a lived experience, collectively shared by people in a concrete place and time. In listening to music produced by a physical object, in a physical space, we feel fully present to the experience of the music and what journey it has to offer us.
Come join us in our practice of deep listening! We will feature a different record every month, curated by a different member of the Society.
This Month's Selection is the influential and groundbreaking 1969 jazz record by Miles Davis: Bitches Brew
