About the event
The Moon is the closest celestial body to us here on earth and it is her effects upon us that are most acutely felt, agreed upon even by non-astrologers. If we take a closer look into how her passage through the ecliptic is articulated we can see much described in how we can approach magical operations and experience the natural world as well as consider some implications in what might be delineated in the chart. By investigating historical texts such as the Picatrix and the Greek Magical Papyri, to the late period grimoires as well as glancing across to the Indian nakshatras we may pull a usable "lunar zodiac" more clearly into focus, and add additional layers of meaning into what might manifest in our daily lives. With the help of Hekate we might get to know 28 animals associated with the Mansions more closely and root our ritual practice securely in the Sublunar Sphere, the manifest world and our own bodies.
Through deeply-researched intersectional astrology incorporating magic, herbalism, dream work and spirituality, Chris's practice employs an ongoing conversation about alchemy and the body. They place a special emphasis on ancestral practice and acknowledgement of our living reality, both tangible and subtle. Reppucci holds sacred the belief that poetry and the active imagination are central to healthy culture.
