Liam Grant is an acoustic guitar player with a punk ethos on a mission to bring Country Bluegrass, Ragtime, Blues and "Other Musicks For Discerning Listeners" to modern audiences.

Wet Tuna was formed by Matt Valentine in Vermont in 2016. Pure free-folk far-reaching individualism described by Tyler Wilcox of Pitchfork as occupying “fertile common ground between Canned Heat and CAN. Uncanny”!!!

Jodina Meehan is is a Cymatic artist who makes sound waves visible, who is writing a trilogy of books about a world where sound is magic. Her minimalist accapella arrangements evoke a unique and unforgetable Southern Gothic sensibility.

Critical Acclaim for Wet Tuna

"It’s a swampy and head-swirling trip that fans of dub, psychedelia and jazz-funk could all equally enjoy."

- RECORD CRATES UNITED

“new LP Warping All By Yourself very loosely suggests a Vermont backwoods take on Miles Davis and Teo Macero's 70's productions." - MOJO

"Think: pencil-thin mustaches, forest-dwelling wizards on a shroom voyage, festival-ready solos, Don Cherry's whispered funksterpiece "Brown Rice" and Funkadelic's dictum to free your mind...your ass will follow." - NPR

"Utterly boo-licious...The results make for one of the more mind-melting platters to've hit the Valley in a good while... rurally expansive sound known for guitar-aktion...like something happening in the back of Daevid Allen's brain. roll a bone or be one. The choice, as always, is yours."- BYRON COLEY

“an irresistible gumbo of deep, cosmic psychedelia, primitive drum-machine grooves and woozy country-funk jams. covering artists as diverse as The Blackbyrds, Michael Hurley, Pentangle and Jimmy Cliff, but stretched.”

- FORCED EXPOSURE

“the band's latest conjures a meeting between Funkadelic and Crazy Horse is a neat effort."-UNCUT

“middle-aged dad rapping in the woods! As Valentine lays down slinky keys, hand percussion, and soaring guitar solos, it starts to sound like Herbie Hancock... Wet Tuna's latest album Warping By Yourself drifts to a close with the languid ambience of “Been So Long” and a reprise of “Raw Food,” drizzled with Stevie Wonder-style clavinet. These elements, borrowed from funk and soul, are strikingly different from the country-folk side of MV & EE’s extended universe. At the same time, Valentine has always worked like a voracious record collector, looking to expand upon his old staples. No matter who’s along for the ride, each new release dives deeper into his obsessions, and these

warped grooves are a perfect place for newcomers to wade in.”- PITCHFORK
